Pratapa Rudra’s case is almost a textbook illustration: he failed to learn his lessons despite four attacks from the Delhi Sultanate—twice from Khilji, then Khusrav Khan, and twice from Muhammad Bin Tughluq. Warangal succumbed to the second attack of Muhammad Bin Tughluq and was annexed to the Delhi Sultanate. Pratapa Rudra was himself taken prisoner and died en route to Delhi.
